Americas Cardroom today announced the launch of its new military-themed loyalty program. Elite Benefits comes with a host of rewards for every real-money online poker player, but perhaps the biggest draw for grinders is how Americas Cardroom calculates points to determine a player’s loyalty status. The online poker site uses the dealt rake method to calculate points, a system that’s been abandoned by competitors.

There are five tiers to the program — Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel, and General.
To move up in military rank, online poker players must earn a predetermined number of Rank Points per month. While earning Rank Points, poker players will also earn Combat Points, which can be swapped for things like tournament entries, poker vacations, merchandise, and real cash at the Americas Cardroom store.
