The online poker player earned the money for taming The Beast<\/strong> at Americas Cardroom<\/a><\/strong><\/em>. It also appears that he is on good track to win back to back titles as he is already leading November’s Leaderboard.<\/p>\n

“This has been an epic four months at Americas Cardroom and we’re thrilled to hand out another $121,397.15 in cash and tournament prizes to our October winners,” stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. “We’ve awarded close to $600,000 in cash and tournament prizes, including trips to Punta Cana and cold hard cash to over 2,500 players. $431,993.93 of our total payouts have been given away in cash alone and $165,421 in tournament entries. And even though the year is almost over, we’re just getting started.”<\/p>\n

MamaCoolJ took the top spot in October’s competition, earning 91,457.59 points as he played an impressive 250,000+ online poker hands. That’s 11,129 more points than second place finisher, rustyrupert9, who earned 80,328.47 points. Rounding out the top three was Ac0428 with 69,306.29 points.<\/p>\n

539 poker players shared in The Beast’s $121,397.15 combined cash and tournament prize pool for October. The prize pool included $91,752.15 in cash, spread among the top 367 players, and another $29,645 in seats to Americas Cardroom’s signature $50k Guaranteed Beast Tournament, spread among a total of 539 online poker players.<\/p>\n
